IELTS Preparation Course

Unit 1: General Information

Unit 2 : Listening

Unit 3: Reading

Unit 4: Writing

Unit 5: Speaking

Unit 6: Building the Skills

The aim of this course is to help you understand how the IELTS test works and what is required to complete it successfully. You will become familiar with the structure of the test and the types of questions asked. You will practise answering some questions and you will be able to estimate your likely score.

While this IELTS preparation course is designed to give you specific knowledge of the types of IELTS tasks, suggest some strategies for dealing with such tasks and help you become a more confident test-taker – and in that way, it may indeed help you raise your score – nothing can substitute for continuous practice of the English language outside the IELTS format. It is your overall level of English that will be assessed first and foremost, rather than how well you are prepared for this specific test. That is why it is essential that you keep practising English in a variety of ways while preparing for the IELTS exam. The more immersed in the language you are in the weeks and months before the exam, the better your chances of success are. In Unit 6, you will read some tips on how to improve your language skills through systematic practice focusing on your problem areas.
